Over the past six years Fair Shares has pioneered community time banks using time banking in the UK.

We also play a significant role in developing time banking in The South West, and Time Banks UK offers support to time banking in the rest of th UK.

We hope to influence policy makers at all levels and gain further recognition and resources from Central Government to advance our aims and objectives.

We envisage our role in the south west will include:

•Helping to set up projects in the South West •Networking, trouble shooting and mentoring •Functioning as a clearing house for information and skills •Organising conferences, seminars and promotional events •Running training programmes with Time Banks UK
