Bees & Butterflies

At the beginning of June we held another event down at our allotment!

This time we focused on the wide range of native bees & butterflies we have in the UK. Lots of eager explorers joined us and spent their time searching the allotment for the signs hidden around it, each featuring a different type of bee or butterfly. Thanks to the good weather we were even visited by lots of real bees!

After all the signs were all found they had a go at making their own bees with paint and paper plates, and then were sent home with a fun bee-themed goody bag.
