Church Hall Painting

A request went out for some people to help paint the St James Church community hall. The team of young people from Betaris Training came to the rescue. The wooden floor in the hall is about to be professionally cleaned and treated soon, and so they desperately wanted to get some painting done in the hall before that (rather than the danger of spilling paint all over their clean floor). The young people did an amazing job with the skirting boards. It was a huge task, but within a few hours they had cleaned, prepared and painted round the whole hall. With some time to spare they even managed to paint the stage cupboards and a door!

It was a pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic bunch who have done wonderful job that will make a difference to loads of people in the community. The vicar was so impressed she’s already asked if they can come back to paint the rest!
