Creative Carving & Sparklers @ the Allotment

29th October 2021
Two pumpkins on a plastic table. The one on the left has star eyes and the one on the left has one half-moon eye and one star eye.
October has rolled around once again and Halloween is just around the corner.

Rachel and two adroit helpers were at hand to help our young guests carve the perfect pumpkin to decorate their doorstep on Halloween. Our allotment had lots of creativity on display as each visitor tried their hand at making their own unique design. We were thoroughly impressed with all the results and how they great ended up looking.

The next day we got ready to embrace the colder weather by having a fun soup & sparklers event. Rachel & Sue each prepared a pot of homemade soup which went down a treat with our visitors. After warming our hands up, and slightly ahead of schedule due to the rain, we busted out the lighters and lit up some sparklers.
