Daffodils!

24th March 2017

We had two great trips out to see the wild daffodils around Dymock and Kempley. We had a group from the Stroud and Stonehouse Fair Shares one day, then a Gloucester group the next.

We drove around and found patches of daffodils hidden in fields and woods. We also took time to visit St Mary’s church which has the claim to have the oldest wooden roof structure of any building in the British Isles!

On the first day the weather was horrendous – cold and rain, and even a bit of hail. But we all warmed up when we stopped for lunch. All in all, everyone had a great time!
