Some Great Feedback

Collection of Photos from Gloucestershire College

We’ve had great feedback from Gloucestershire College after working with some students from there. They’ve been helping out with building an outdoor forest theatre, going to the Dean Heritage centre and seeing a chainsaw carving demonstration, and even helping to build a shelter at the City Farm Allotment.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the multiple volunteering opportunities we have had with yourselves. The students have learnt a lot from their volunteering sessions and we have had some great feedback. It has allowed the students to learn new outdoor skills and be part of something they can see benefits the community. Having a chance to put all their lesson skills into something practical has been such a benefit for our students!

I have spent some time with the students talking about their sessions at City Farm and Dean Heritage and they have highlighted learning new skills such as; team work, how communication is key, meeting new people and wood work skills.

I would also like to thank Fair Shares for their communication and appreciation for the students work. It is a pleasure working with people that understand our students and that show their appreciation on numerous occasions.

Thank you again, and look forward to working with the in the future.
