Off With Their Heads!

In June we took the long drive down to London to visit the Tower of London.

Waking up early at 7am we set off on a four hour long journey down to London. After a brief stop at a service station we arrived at 11am and spent the next few hours enjoying the sights and experiences of the Tower of London.

We saw the crown jewels, the yeomen, dioramas, and lots of other displays inside the estate. It was lots of fun, so much so that we took our youth group to visit as well in July!

With our youth group however we decided to take the minibus to the outskirts of London and then take them on the tube into Westminster. From Westminster we then took an uber boat to the Tower of London. It was a scorching hot day, especially on the one train with no aircon. After admiring the amazing craftsmanship on display throughout the Tower and its exhibits, we hit up other London tourist sites before heading home.
