Official Workshop Opening

Our workshop was officially opened this past Friday, and we were thrilled to hold an event to celebrate it.

Although it’s been in use by some of our own participants it wasn’t suitable for a wider audience. Thanks to funding from the Screwfix Foundation, Ethical Giving and Barnwood Trust we were able to fully revitalise it and make it a welcoming space for all the community.

We invited a wide range of guests and also members of the public to attend the opening. They were able to try their hand at routering, chiselling and using a lathe. We also had a selection of the good created by those at our workshop on display.
