We chose a perfect time of year to visit the Rococo Garden in Painswick last Thursday.
22 of us piled into two minibuses and enjoyed the sun and fresh air out in the countryside. Walking around the garden we saw a variety of different flowers, although primarily snowdrops. A few of our participants listened to a talk from one of the gardeners there and learned that there were three different varieties of snowdrops in the garden – one of which was cultivated by a former gardener.
When our legs were tired, we enjoyed some cake, tea and a sit down at their bustling cafe. Fingers crossed we’ll be visiting again during their apple pressing season!
