Artistic Endeavours

Yesterday Lloyd was at JOLT Gloucester along with a group of young people he’s been working with from Gloucester College.

They’ve been visiting Jolt every Thursday and taking part in a variety of art sessions, each led by a different creative.

This session was their fourth, and final one with Theo. They were working on using old CD cases to make stained glass style art – first drawing their designs, and then tracing over them onto the case using sharpies. Another method involved covering one side of the case with matte black paint and then engraving the design on.

Next up they’ll be following Ella, who’ll lead them through some painting tasks ,and then try out clay with Jon.
