Spreading Christmas Cheer

25th December 2020
Due to COVID-19 we were unable to do our usual Christmas party, but that didn’t stop us from spreading some cheer.

It’s always nice to get together and celebrate the festive period with friends at the end of the year – especially when it’s been a rough one. However, we were obviously unable to all gather together as we normally do and had to think of alternatives.

We decided to gather together lots of goodies, including gifts made by participants, and make our own Christmas hampers to hand out.

Mandy used our kitchen to make a variety of jams and curds for the hampers, various participants and children from local schools made Christmas cards, helpers from Ecclesiastical Insurance made and decorated cakes, our art club made stockings, lavender pouches were made at our allotment, candles and biscuits and tree decorations were also made.
